Bible Discovery is software for reading, studying and comparing different Bible versions. This new version of the program has several modifications and new features. First, the interface has been totally redesigned. This redesign has its advantages, but some disadvantages too. For instance, I couldn't find the function to display two Bible versions at the same time to compare them. On the bright side, the program now includes a Greek version of the New Testament. This is important, since the original texts of the New Testament were written in Greek, and thus, you can read them in the same language in which they were conceived.
Among the standard features that still can be found in this version is the Hebrew (and Greek) transliteration; that is, the conversion of the text from its original form into the Latin alphabet. This makes easier to pronounce the words properly and also serves as a language learning aid. Please note that Hebrew transliteration is still under development, so minor errors may exist. As in previous versions, you can download many different Bible versions and references, many of which are free.
The basic program is free, but you need to register your name and a valid e-mail address to download it. Also, the installation wizard installs the trial version of the Cross-reference plugin, which has several functions that you can use during 15 days. If you want to keep using it, then you will need to purchase a license.
